I’m the Founder and Clinical Director of The Vale Clinic, and for over 20 years I’ve been helping people with foot, ankle and lower-limb problems reduce pain, improve mobility and get back to doing the things they enjoy.
Before establishing The Vale Clinic in Wokingham, I spent a number of years working within the NHS across both community and hospital settings. At the Royal Berkshire Hospital, I specialised in diabetic foot care, supporting patients with more complex foot health needs.
I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal podiatry, biomechanics and gait analysis, helping patients understand and manage foot and lower-limb pain affecting everyday activities, sport, walking or running.
I also have a special interest in nail surgery, helping patients find a long-term solution to painful or recurring ingrowing toenails.
In addition, my advanced training in foot skin surgery enables me to assess and surgically manage suitable skin lesions affecting the feet.
I believe good care starts with listening. I take the time to understand your concerns, explain my findings and treatment options clearly, and develop a personalised plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.
Specialist Interests:
Nail Surgery • Foot Skin Surgery • Musculoskeletal Podiatry • Biomechanics & 3D Gait Analysis • Sports Injuries • Podiatric Dermatology • Diabetic Foot Care

Katherine
I’m an experienced HCPC-registered Podiatrist with almost 30 years’ experience in private practice across the UK and New Zealand.
I enjoy all aspects of podiatry, from routine foot care to musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, and orthotic therapy. I have a particular interest in helping patients stay active and comfortable, taking the time to understand what may be contributing to their symptoms and developing personalised treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked as part of multidisciplinary teams alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, orthopaedic consultants and sports therapists. This has given me a broad perspective on foot and lower-limb health, movement and rehabilitation.
I really value building long-term relationships with my patients. My approach is warm, friendly and thorough, and I believe that listening carefully and explaining treatment options clearly helps patients feel confident and involved in their care.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my energetic young dog, Maverick, and making the most of the Hampshire countryside.
Clinical Interests:
Musculoskeletal Podiatry • Biomechanics • Orthotic Therapy • Nail Surgery • Foot & Lower-Limb Pain

I’m a Chartered and HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy, and I enjoy helping people overcome pain, regain movement and return to the activities that are important to them.
I treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, and rehabilitation following injury or surgery. I also have additional training in the assessment and treatment of cervical and headache-related conditions.
My approach combines hands-on treatment with personalised exercise and rehabilitation. Depending on your needs, treatment may include manual therapy, myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), kinesiotaping and a tailored exercise programme.
I believe good physiotherapy starts with understanding you, not just your symptoms. I’ll take the time to listen, explain what may be contributing to your problem and work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your goals, lifestyle and level of activity.
My aim is to help you move with greater confidence and give you the tools to support your recovery beyond the treatment room.

Hello, I’m Hannah. I’ve been part of The Vale Clinic team for over four years, and during that time I’ve really enjoyed getting to know our patients and understanding what helps them feel comfortable and well cared for.
After completing my Foot Health Practitioner qualification, I’ve taken that experience into my clinical role, where I provide a range of foot health treatments including hard skin and nail care, as well as care for verrucae and fungal nail conditions.
I’m very particular about the little details and like to make sure every treatment is thorough and unhurried. I want patients to feel comfortable, listened to and confident that their feet are being well looked after.
The Vale Clinic has been a big part of my journey, so moving into clinical practice has felt like a natural next step in a career that has always been centred around caring for others.
Clinical Interests:
Routine Foot Care • Nail Care • Hard Skin & Corns • Fungal Nail Care • Verruca Care
