I’ve been looking after feet in Reading for over 16 years, both in the NHS and independent practice. I set up the clinic in 2018 to help people like you with their foot problems.
As a registered HCPC podiatrist, I am qualified to diagnose, treat, manage and rehabilitate a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. From the generalised treatments for nails, hard skin and corns, to the more specialised treatments like ingrowing toenail surgery, and biomechanical assessments.
I operate from three clinic locations within medical practices in Woodley, Earley and Twyford; where I offer a complete podiatry and chiropody service, covering various aspects of foot health.
Over the years, I’ve developed close links with other health professionals from a multidisciplinary perspective, treating the patient as a whole.
To create a center of excellence dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals within my community, by putting their feet first.
To help keep you and your family, walking, independent, and free of pain.
Continually Striving for excellence in all aspects of care delivered to you, offering services in a caring, compassionate and safe environment.
I graduated from the University of Salford, Greater Manchester in 2003, with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Podiatric Medicine, and started my career in the NHS.
I worked as part of the Podiatry team in a multidisciplinary setting at the Podiatry Department Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. I developed a passion and keen interest in the Diabetic foot, carrying out multidisciplinary clinics alongside consultants from the Diabetes centre; and also worked on the hospital wards.
I sought further challenges working in the Reading community in the local NHS podiatry clinics, GP practices and at Prospect Park Hospital bringing my much-valued knowledge, skills and expertise to the community team.
I became Podiatry team leader at King Edward V11 and St Marks Hospitals in East Berkshire in 2016, managing the Podiatry team, an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.
During my time in the NHS, one of the many achievements I am proud of, was leading and developing the Nail surgery care pathway in the Podiatry service Berkshire-wide.
I moved into full-time private practice in 2018, working within a multidisciplinary clinic in Reading, to further develop my career in the private sector.
My areas of interest are nail surgery, the diabetic foot, wound care, biomechanics and verrucae treatments.
I am a mother to two lovely girls. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling and retail therapy, lots of it!
